Target Market Project
Market Research on the Boba Industry
For Marketing: Practical Application, I did an extensive research project on the Boba industry, specifically comparing two popular boba businesses: Gongcha and Ding Tea. The research included real life surveys and testimonies from managers, employees, and customers of each business, S.W.O.T analyses, analysis of the marketing environment, and more. I also created a mock boba business by incorporating and improving on all the strengths and weaknesses that I identified in my research of the industry.
I even got a job at a boba shop to understand the environment to the fullest extent! |
Biola Library Campaign Plan
A RPIE Process on the Biola University Library
For a Public Relations course, I along with two classmates did an extensive research on our University's Library and created a campaign plan that targeted commuters, undergraduate students, and graduate students. This campaign includes important PR research elements such as SWOT analysis, PPIP, detailed strategies and tactics, SMART Objectives, Channel Calendar and more, all within the RPIE process. |
Nintendo SWOT AnalysisA Research Project About Nintendo
For Principles of Management, I was able to work on a research project about Nintendo with three of my classmates. We had to present the history and the background of the company to the class as if we were presenting to the officials of Nintendo, and perform a SWOT analysis of the company as well. We finished off with some recommendations on how to better market their products. Through this project I was able to learn how to perform a SWOT analysis as well as how to extensively research a company and formally present it. I was also able to truly grasp the idea of teamwork, specifically working with three other students who all commuted and worked part-time. We were all able to build our professionalism and our public speaking skills. |
